Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Thank you ladies!!

Here is a pic of the local legend that is Doug's mentor. Jack Patterson. There is more poultry knowledge inbetween this fella's ears then there is on this entire site.
Jack is the guy on the far rite with the coffee cup. (pic was taken by Lee) Thank you Lee for sending it to me. I was Lee's comical sidekick today and personal driver to the seminar

Bill,
Are you not sure you have a Leprechan in your back pocket because you always seem to hit a pot of Gold. You are very fortunate with that purchase. Use her wisely and frequently. Good luck this season.
AGAIN, the BOONE COUNTY 4-H CLUB of Indiana has proven to be one of the best 4-H Clubs in the USA. Asides from the obvious, in the FOR SALE area at todays once a year seminar, there was some outstanding New Hampshires from Doug Akers, a tremendous trio of Lite Brahmas from Jonathan Patterson, superior quality of Sumatras from Doug Akers, including some of Doug's White Rocks.

Some of the best things in life is "FREE".
Like this fabulous Buff Orpington pullet that was given to me. I ofcourse could not resist in making a donation of $20. And then thought a second and asked IF Doug would take $25 as a donation. Doug said $20 is more then generous.
See you do not have to pay hundreds of dollars to get quality.
There is a whole slew of Buff cockerels and their big 14+ lbs daddy I have plans of breeding her too.
MAYBE next year those who live within driving range of Lebanon IN will make an effort to attend this 4-H Club's once a year seminar.
THANK YOU DOUG!!!!!!!

This pic does not do this bird justice. She has one heck of a nice head!!

Thank you Harry. Let's see IF I can work this girl's type and size into our Whites for the future to play with. And your tops on the list for future eggs from her and the boy of your choice.

My kids and I went and really enjoyed it! It sure didn't seem as good of an idea when were getting up at 5 this morning, but I'm glad we went. There were definitely some beautiful birds there, and a lot of great information. Next year we'll have to plan to get there earlier before all the birds are sold. I'm sure they went fast!
