Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Ivomec and Ivermectin did an awful job for me. One month after using it I saw worms literally swimming in a fresh poo from one of my hens.

I do not use it for worms just for mites and lice. I have always heard to rotate your wormers so I do. I have also read that the Ivomec has been overused for worms & has lost its effectiveness.

I was would like to know, if you don't mind, how do you calculate the dosage with the Ivomec? I have read so many different things and just want to make sure I am giving them enough but not too much. I gave mine .5 cc last time. Is this low or high? I have all LF but the Orps of course are the largest. Thanks.

I also use the Valbezen.
I use Ivomec pour on. On bantams I put 1/4 cc on the skin on the back of neck. On stds I do 1/2 cc same way. I used to use the inject kind. I mixed 2 cc of ivomec and 18 cc of water. 1cc would fo 10lbs. If it was a old english bantam I put like 1/5 od a cc down the month. I like the pour on alot better. It will not get tapes.

Thanks Don. I am glad I was getting it right. I also follow up in 10-14 days if they had any lice.
