That male is what the APA SOP describes.......no flat spot on the lower chest, you can see the hock, no excess fluff and most importantly.........no little head on top of that big body.

Cecil was the black and white orp man for many years. He was a very good friend. The breed will miss him, he shared birds all over the world.There was a pic of Cecil that was posted in EXHIBITION MAGAZINE a while ago that shown Cecil and 2 of his males. one was White and one was Black. They looked like bookends to each other. I remember the Black looked identical to the one in your pic. Cecil surely knew how to breed that type and quality year after year. How long did you have Blacks Walt? Do you still bred them?
