Poor child looks like a drowned rat....... BUT...I'll bet she's not wet to the skin thanks to all those feathers! Orps have to be hardy, and have plenty of winter woolies to make it on free range in England. I know. I kept Eddie Bauer and LLBean in business for a couple of years over there. Bitter cold, and very damp to the bone.

HOW did you read my mind? LOL!! Still, 4 weeks tops for laying. 8 hours minimum for drying out. Alright, not 8 hours, but she looks pretty wet.
