Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

I know!, i am going to try and treat her on Monday. Just hoping i can put her straight back out with the old girls because i have new ones coming on Tuesday, so i really need the spare shed.

Please keep us posted! I worry about her. I hate to see her like that.

The chicks don't bother calling for their mother now, they just take comfort in their sister Bella. I think they will be upset when i take her away on Sunday night!

I'm going to call my vet on Monday because they apparently do do chickens again. I hope they do because I really dont want to do it myself!

Johnn,

You need to really wash those feet before you put her up on clean straw . Scrub those tootsies, top and bottom. Part of this looks like some sort of rain crud, similar to what horses get in the fields. Is the middle pad of her foot inflamed ? Poor baby ! The vet will probably put her on antibiotics after he drains the abscesses, but you must keep her feet clean, and dry, until all is healed.
