He's not bad. I would like him to be a bit thicker. I think he's more lean than the standard. Maybe lanky would be the best word for it. And obviously he is not as heavily feathered as I would want to see. If you look at the black girls in the photos, they are from a different line and their body type, more compact build and heavier feathering is more to standard, IMO. I have some chicks growing out from the first crossing of these two lines and they are definitely carrying the hens' body type.
