Thanks..Its your great breeding program! We just couldnt be happier right now..hoping to get a couple dozen hatching eggs from you sometime end of march early april..should be a super nice show season next year..we invested in a brinsea for next year...for now were just trying to get them all snuggled in ..THANKS JODY for these fantastic birds..I talked to Bob Whitney at the show..he was just in love with that pullet..his hen won grand champion english..aussie hen. ..I will be sending copy of PP to you when it comes out..hes been at this a long time and he just fell in love with mrs softie.I was a little shook up, never expected to win that big, hes so good to people he said to me, your just going to come right back up here next year and do it again..and you think of it just that way. What a great guy!

well thank you for the nice compliment..you have some really nice birds too..these came from Jody, hinkjc..they won big for us this summer so were thrilled with them..a little dream come true..

they wont dissapoint you..fantastic birds..very easy to work with and around..they enjoy the attention..but keep the oprah girl!

Lovely Blacks aveca, I especially like your hen. I've grown partial to the Blacks, having a Splash roo my birds only produced Blue & Splash offspring this year, I'm wishing now that I had a few Black chicks growing out.

I am happy that I am proceeding forward with this line. ALOT of folks asked me WHY? I seen a show on HISTORY Channel the other nite talking about how, in AG, everyone uses what everyone else has. Same thing in Exhibition chickens. Well over half of the folks out there want the line of Buffs that routinely is placing well in show. I like that line too. But, I like Doug's line as well. Doug's line is very unique. He does not like to selll anything that has to be shipped. OR eggs. And the Captain's line is equally rare. I have a suspicious that Buff line MAY have some Coulter blood. His birds were huge too. So I am happy with these guys.
Was surprised that THE show winning line being discussed wasn't Doug's. At least here in the Mid West I always think of him and his well raised, quality type buff Orps. Since I don't get out much am wondering what the line considered to be routinely winning is if it's not Doug's? [email protected]

Aveca, I am just so happy you are enjoying them and pleased that others liked them at the show too. It sounds like you all had a great time. I wish I could get away to go to shows too, but am just as thrilled to hear our friends are doing well with our birds. Thanks so much for your kinds words!
