, I now have 3 Buff orps, the back one is moulting thats why she looks abit scratty, Im starting to believe my BO chick is a girl!!, when i am sure of it when she is 16 wk old i will say her name and who ever suggested it can own up!!

Hi. I have been trying to catch up on this thread (still way behind) so please forgive me if I am asking dumb question/s. I a new to Orps and this is one of my pullets. I like most things about her except her comb. As many have stated before the image does not represent her completely. She is approx. 8 months old & her breast is fuller than it appears, her head is not small but I think it could be better and is her feathering to loose? She does have a beautiful green sheen it just did not show up well. Any suggestions or comments on how to improve my Orps will be appreciated (esp. the comb/wattle area).

She is lovely with a nice head and comb. It looks like she is laying or about to.She's not too fluffy ! You can see her hocks clearly.
