Our nest boxes

Our brooder

Here is our run, we have hawks so I covered it with netting.

This is our small coop 5 x 12

This is the inside of the big coop 10 x 12 before the chickens moved in. Our big coop adjoins the garage.

They started out looking like this

We took the easy way out and bought a mini barn/shed. Its an 8 x 10. I painted it and then sweet hubby added the egg box, cut a window and pop door out and then added galvinzed rabbit wire to the inside of one of the doors so we could leave the door open most of the year without predators getting in. He also put the galvinzed wire over the window. He made a 8 x 22 run for the girls. Its also made with the galvinized wire. We dug around the coop and run and poured concrete hoping to predator proof every inch of it.

Here is a picture of the end of the run, the bottom half lifts up so the girls can come out to play.

He made the wire door so we could keep it open most months.

The left door stays closed unless i want to go in.

The girls at their feed box. We have feeder and waters both inside and outside.

We put a Rooster stand in the run and the girls play on it more than the roo does.

Your place looks so peaceful and tidy. Most people work their fingers to the bone to go rent a place like that for a week. It makes you feel so taken away and relaxed. Very Very nice. Im movin' in.
