If you want chickens that seek you out when they are about a week old get a couple of little tubs of mealworms or red wigglers (small ) and hand feed in the brooder do it every day or two for a week or two and when bigger they will come running everytinme they see you so ...be careful what you wish for

Brooder getting crowded, so I bring 1 or 2 up from the basement for a little extra stimulation! They don't stay upstairs for long & I've got paper towel for accident prevention. It's all good! Building a mega brooder this weekend. Gotta be prepared for Easter & 28 more chicks in April!

There are 36 chicks in the brooder right now but these are the only ones that agreed to sit still for a second so I could get a pic of them.
