This is Andre the Broken Toe. He is a Jersey Giant roo. In the pic, he is only 6 mos old and already a good 11 lbs (and still skinny!). He's gonna be a bog boy! He's an absolute sweetheart and great roo.
Behind him is Frenchie, one of my 2 yr old Barred Rocks. She is an absolute doll and tough! She was in a full molt (nearly buck naked!) when she and another BR hen got attacked by two stray miniature pinschers that some how go into the yard (we think they squeezed between the rod iron rails on the gate...we now have solid sheet metal over it!). I thought for sure she was a goner, but her and her sister both survived.

She got to live in the house for 4 weeks or so healing and got rice and steamed carrots for treats. For weeks afterwards, if DH was cutting carrots and the kitchen window was open, she was running and wanting in the kitchen!

The one that I am holding in my avatar is Gabby, an EE hen. She is a sweetheart too and very cuddly. I have so many favorites that I'd have to start a whole new thread of just pics!!

This is Easy, my 6 month old Delaware. She was taking a dust bath at the time so she's a little dirty.
