How old do turkeys have to be to tell the gender?

We were semi-sure at about 3 weeks..and positive at 6 weeks. These were our first Bronze babies. Boys run a little heavier and have slightly bigger snoods and supposedly thicker legs..but at the time, we didn't know about the leg thing and based our determination on the snood and slightly larger body frame. Good luck with trying to decide, I read lots and lots of posts where people go a pretty long time thinking they have a SHE and it's a HE.

How old do turkeys have to be to tell the gender?

I find 12 weeks to be the age to accurately tell male from female. Though some turkeys will mature faster while others can take longer.
