I have a Mindnight Majasty Maran that is at least 7 weeks old.

And a Sapphire Olive Egger also at least 7 weeks old.

Thanks. "She" is really sweet but her tail has me worried. At the base I see some feathers curling like the ways my roos do. And I know saddle feathers don't show up until around 15 weeks old.

I don't think your second bird is sapphire gem.

Not sapphire gem. Just sapphire olive egger. Sapphire gems don't have crests like sapphire olive eggers do.

How old in the pic?

I’m not sure. He was a rescue from a friend, and that picture is from the day I got him. However, I had met him when he was younger and was able to watch him grow. I’d guess around 4-5 months old, though.

This is Booboo, our Easter Egger. 15 weeks old. I suspect a roo. What do y’all think?
