i was asleep...then i woke up to more pictures. you all posted them when i was sleeping last night. love the pictures. my camera got taken away so i cant get some pictures. darnit. i finally get to go back to school today.
 
These guys visit every spring. I think my little back yard is on their migration route...

Buzzard is an incorrectly used common name in North America to describe vultures. There are no buzzards native to North America unless you include the genus Buteo which the true buzzards belong to.

Rough-legged vulture? I'm not familiar with that. It does not occur in my bird books. There is a rough-legged hawk in North America. Is that what you are referring to?

Turkey vultures do have light coloration on the wing tips.

And I was referring to the rough legged hawk which is also known as the rough legged buzzard.
