This is Cadence, my evil, chicken eating husky
NOT. It took me a week to get her close enough to the chickens to take a picture! Tonight, while I was trying to get the pictures, she saw a "squirrel" behind a log, and started to go after it. Until my little blue silkie rooster popped his head up. She immediately stopped and turned around. Goooood puppy
This is Bindi, my cattle dog. She looks to the chickens for extra snacks.... you know, scraps, B.O.S.S., chicken nuggets, etc. I couldn't get a picture of her close enough to the chickens that didn't have her nose burried in the ground looking for snacks. If I need to catch a specific chicken, she is very helpful at herding them with me. Goooood puppy...
The only time my chickens are at all concerned about my dogs is when the dogs play too close.
