This sounds terrible, but our ducks have no names...we have 25 of them...and for the most part...they all look alike. We had talked of getting rid of all but maybe five, but I couldn't stand the thoughts of losing them to someone who might mistreat them. So, we have an orphanage of ducks and while they are unnamed...they are not unloved. :
That's a great idea! We thought of putting a tag on our ducks' leg but we have so many small tree roots around, I was afraid they would get snagged. We really enjoy them.
i wanting to ask you guys some thing i was going to runner and pekin to add to my flock but now i m thinking of getting Cayuga and pekin are the Cayuga good layers
I honestly don't know very much about ducks. Just learning as we go along. We have only Pekins about half naked and half female it seems. We get 13 to 14 eggs a day, and we give them away to family members.
