This is my sweet cream Legbar she’s secretly my favourite girl- although she wasn’t very happy here because I was late letting them all out into the fields- although it was summer when I took this so the woods are there favourite for bugs and bathing!!

 

[16 and me]

Meet Maggie, my miracle hen. The 1st week of September she suddenly became paralyzed from the neck down. She had to have rolled up towels all around her or she would just fall over and could not move to get up. 6-8 weeks of intensive care, physiotherapy and prayers and she was able to stand, then walk, and is now fully recovered, able to run and "chicken-fly"!

That’s a truly strong hardy hen- she’s beautiful as well. Hats off to you for not giving up!
