chicken_china_mom, love your Chi's!!!! I'm parshal to them myself. I have 4. I just had a litter and kept the little white long coat. Now I have four. They are like Layes potato chips, you can have just one!!!!!

All of my dogs except for Beowulf are, and have been, rescues.He was a gift

I do seem to have a knack for either finding, or coming across dogs in need (sometimes cats and chickens, too).

My two Tervs, Beowulf and Aspen. Aspen's puppy sparked a huge puppy mill rescue 11 years ago. The Terv club bought out one 'breeder's' entire breeding stock of Tervs rather than let them be auctioned off to another puppy mill. Aspen has been with me for 11 years now, and is about to turn 14, on my birthday.

5 years ago I rescued this killer pit bull from euthanasia. Her owners abandoned her at the hospital where I work. She had gunshot wounds and a broken leg.

10 years ago this little Catahoula-ish mix Emma followed me home. Last year I found this lab setter puppy on the railroad tracks. I fostered him for 3 months, and then Puppup went to live with my brother. He is AWESOME with the kids.
