ok i have to post a confession about mindless moments..

this is going back 14 years ago... my son was a new born.. like DAYS old...

I went grocery shopping with the new baby... my 5 year old was in school

we lived in an appartment... i brought all the groceries upstairs.. sat down to make a tea... and then my mom called she seen me drive in... she then asked where the baby was....

I LEFT HIM IN THE CAR!!!

i flew down the stairs and flung open the door... and heres my baby bot sleeping away...

Mine happened just last evening at supper. Filled my plate, went into livingroom, sat at the tv tray, ate my supper, got up to take my plate to the kitchen and realized I had two forks on my plate! Didn't notice at all and I still don't remember if I used them both or not!

I've started running water in kitchen sink to wash dishes, to come back in about 5 mins later with the sink ready to overflow!! Totally forgot what I was doing! Have turned the burner on stove with the skillet, waiting to heat up before frying eggs, go sit down, smell hot oil!! Again totally forgot what I was doing! I do the eyeglass thing all the time! Getting old is the pits!!!

BTW Spookwriter, Loved the dog one!!

I asked my husband to make me a bowl of ice cream with hot fudge and nuts. I said write it down or you will forget.
He said I WILL NOT forget. He seemed to be in the kitchen forever and when he finally returned he had fried eggs and
bacon. I said to him see I told you to write it down because I wanted toast too.
No this didn't really happen (yet) it was a cute joke I heard that was funny

One that I did this weekend actually turned out well. I was making lemon frosting for a cake and I set the kitchen aid off and knew I had to let it go for 2 minutes. Came to the computer, got involved in a conversation and 20 minutes went by. OMG that frosting was soooo danged fluffy!!!!! I gotta remember to forget the frosting again.
