I'm new to turkeys, hatched my first in 2012 and I just love them and have really enjoyed all your great turkey photos...some were really funny too.

And thanks. I'm also very new to turkey, I just got my trio as babies last year, I got the breeds of turkey I've always dreamed of having, Bourbon Reds, and Royal Palms. And they are just SOOOO friendly, and my toms are the most photogenic animals I have ever owned! lol. I'm also hoping to hatch out some bourbon reds/, bourbon red /royal palm project poults this spring, Just can't get enough of them!

Thank you! I've been enjoying the turkeys a lot too except I free range mine and the hens have a strong desire to nest outside and my favorite one got picked off last summer because I couldn't find her nest. I'm going to have to keep them in a covered pen this summer.

Now THAT is a rare breed of turkey!!!! So rare, I've never seen one before lol
