Just finalized my first ever flock today... I am only allowed 6 hens in my area. I have 2 EE pullets, 1 barred rock pullet, and 3 cochins that were straight run. Hoping they are girls!
These are the cochins - a buff, a splash, and a silver laced.



Here are the other 3 - the barred rock on the right

And a few other pics.

I think this red EE is my favorite. She seems most aware of me.

The other EE is cute too. Love the cheeks!

My eggs went into lockdown on Tuesday. They should hatch (day 21 )on Friday (tomorrow)! I have 19 out of 20 that made it to lockdown. They went into the incubator around 11 pm, so it may be very late on Friday or sometime over the weekend. I'll let you know. This is my first attempt at hatching.
