Predators
I live in the country with an abundance of predators. I lost my fair share of birds until we got a great dog that protects the farm from varmits including owls, hawks, coyotes, snakes, and worst of all... Coons! She considers the chickens part of her family and stands guard everyday. Our birds free range during the day and I have not lost a bird to predators since she became part of the family. She also gives us unconditional love and companionship. I have seen her confront a coyote in our horse pasture. We just got a second pup for her to train.
My mini-coop for my vision-impaired chicken. The other girls all pick on her relentlessly so she got her own pretty house in the flower garden. It was small and flimsy but I reinforced it and added an automatic door opener and some major style and color. I think I like it even better than my big coop!!!
I mean so you can walk on it wihtout leaving foot prints... That would be excellent for my feed room... eight by twenty four feet. Yep feet It will hold about two tons after i build it. Hay and then I want a space for canned feed and supplements
I literally poured it out on the floor and just pushed it around with a roller and long extension handle so mine is likely thicker than recommended.. It took 24 hours for it to be able to be walked on.
Perchie.girl you may want to read more off the link. I first thought it would be great to do but if it seals it and the wood holds water under it there goes the floor right?
Long thread but lots of people with years of the product on their coop floor in this thread. I truly believe it's the best thing you can do for your floor.

The only reason this could get flagged is that is has nothing to do with coops. But if that's the case, then the person you were responding to should be equally flagged. All you did was state some inconvenient truths....
I wasnt trying to start a political battle, sorry. I used to feel that way but 70 years of life have changed how i look at trying to save the world or even my belongings. I truely appologize to the forum for bringing it up, sorry.
