post your chicken coop pictures here!

Thank you. I'm going to add a piece of lexan in the middle so they have some light if I decide to sleep in. Even with it closed there's ventilation through screened openings between the top board and the purlin (between the rafters) for the cooler weather.

I ordered stationary windows with our custom coop and I love to look at the inside without having to open doors. I had one hen that liked to roost on the perch next to the window for a "view."

Here's my new coop :) Only predators here are snakes and I suppose there is a possibility of a fox.

The front opens out like a big gate, there are wood shavings on the floor on top of builders plastic so I can just pull the lot out and dump it in the compost every now and then. The sides have clear polycarbonate to stop rain/winter winds, but there is a vertical gap around the top. More of a gap on the side you can't see in this picture. On the sides there is also a horizontal 10cm gap between the polycarb and the floor so air can come in the bottom and out the top.

Almost finished with our coop! Need to cover the top of the run & put their dust bath on the pallet on the ground. Also adding some 2x4s to the wood structure in the corner for roosting. The door is from our garage & the 2 window go to our kitchen & dining room so we can watch them lots!

Please when you get a chance give that OSB an extra coat of waterproof paint.
