post your chicken coop pictures here!

Aaaw come on guys and gals .. I am sure they would enjoy the variety of cooking shows available; as long as chicken is not the main ingredient.

Or they could cheer along their favourite teams on the Sports Channel, the Helsinki Roosters or Des Moines Roosters.

And then there is the Market Channel where they can keep track of the highs and lows in the egg-trade.

Sorry, in a silly mood

Looks like they built it on top of a trailer. Pretty smart, some people probably start with a light construction in their heads and start adding on a lot and end up with a 3 ton shed they can't move. I started with the idea of possibly taking the coop with if we move in the future, but I'm guessing the next occupants will have to be chicken people as well... Unless i rent a construction crane =P

I didn't see that before. Only had 1 cup of coffee!! Your right, very smart!! When I built my coops, I built them like a kit in my shop, and then took them to location and put them

together.

Very nice use of space! I'm sure your hens are quite content

It doesn't have to be "large," it just has to be "right" for you and your birds, and function properly.

Say WHAT?!

What he/she asked was 'does anyone have CCTV?' ... Closed Circuit TV. I bought this setup and will have peace of mind that I can not only 'hear' what's happening in the coop but can 'watch' the ladies as well!

Right now the camera is in the coop, but this unit has the capability of adding a second camera that I plan on adding for in the run. This will be especially nice during the winter snowy months and also for peace of mind in case an unwanted critter tries to get in!

Our first coop. We used all recycled material. Its covered with welded wire and chicken wire. We have a skirt of hardware cloth covered with rock so nothing can did under. We placed it so its in a spot that gets shade about 90% of the day. The girls seem to like it so far!

We still have some things to do. Like automatic feeder and waterer. I'm going to plant some herbs for chickens in the cinder blocks. Thanks for looking. We are not carpenters so its not a chicken mansion but we only spent like $80-$100 on it.
