Finished our coop yesterday and got our new pullets the same day!! The wooden post with the yellow knob you see in front is the edge of our electric bear fence. Bears seem to be the biggest predator issue in the part of Juneau, AK that we live in. And big dogs.

Have to admit, it wasn't planned, but kind of love how the coop ended up matching our first group of birds - Golden Nuggets.
