post your chicken coop pictures here!

This is my barn stall coop. It will be 11x11. There will be a run that I'll add pictures of it later. It's almost finished also. It is 15x20 feet.

Hurray for Mr. van Winkle!  Looks like y'all have a roomy property for your chickens.  After the fox incident how many girls survived well and alive?

Spring started early for us and the seedlings were planted outdoors in February.  A week later the heatwave hit and there hasn't been a cool day since.  I think I might actually get a Pomegranate fruit or two this year!  Been pampering 3 trees since they were seeds out of a piece of fruit that I sowed 3 years ago!  I started 36 seeds and am down to 3 plants that survived healthy and well!  It's easy to sow Pomegranate seeds but another story to nurture them to actual trees.

We had seven ladie and Mr. Evil still alive... I've noted one broody girl this last week and even though my hubby says no I've left 4 with her these last few days... I marked them with an O and I'll check them in a few days to see if they are viable via light... If I toss them it's only 4 lost right... If they are hatch able I'm putting them at right around my sons bday on the 20th

Any idea why she nests UNDER the nest boxes? Anyway this is the lady hiding 4 eggs under her.. She puffs up and barks at me when I go near her...

This is where the new coop will be going... Backed against the shed, 4' x 8' with sides that will open up for cleaning access.

they'll figure it out :) my ramp is also like that (I think a bit steeper actualy) and we've had 3 clutches raised so far. Their mama's taught them all how to do it.
Yeah... But take a look at the ramp!!!

You can just make it out... The coops on a 3.5' stand... Imagine the ramp

Here are a few pics of my A-frame, I have detachable wheels for it also.

This is the first coop I have built, overall I have been very happy with it.

How many chickens can you fit into this coop and about how much did it cost to build??? Love it! Have two hens right now and 10 GLW And SLW mixed chicks coming in two months trying to determine how too build my new coop?!

Hope better late than never on this but I would suggest moving the youngins into the new coop first. Put the older girls in later so they are the ones in a "new place" JMO.

It's interesting you suggested putting the newest girls in the new coop first. That was what we were planning w/ the two new pullets arriving this week. We're still assembling the new coop and by the time it's finished the girls should be done w/ quarantine and they'll get to use the new coop first while the old girls continue in the old coop for a few days. When the old coop gets picked up by our friend for his flock, the new girls will be the "owners" of the new coop that will be shared by old and new alike (5 hens total). Introducing the old hens will be done at night. I've got gentle breeds like Ameraucana, Silkie, and Breda so hopefully there won't be excessive drama in the morning when they all wake up!
