Well I just got a coop off of Criagslist. I have no idea how I'm going to get it in the backyard, and it is HUGE! I only have two chickens at present, and I'm going to get one more tomorrow, but I don't need all this space! So I'm thinking I will try to divide it in at least half. It needs a little work, some paint, and shingles, but other than that I'm excited to have a place for them. (P.S. That's the ladder for them to climb on the inside.)

Still have the run and the exterior to do. I am also going to go with sand inside the coop and in the run. But here are some pictures while its in the process of getting finished.

I love your nesting box idea! That's so smart!! I might go get some at the dollar store for mine.

Old Dog house...(the floor was rotted out and we had to replace it. I wish I would of had a before pic) bought the nesting box online.

Picture frame painted for the window, vent covers to cover ventilation holes...Recycled wood used for the frame under the coop...







Large door for easy cleaning....

Thank You I have worked very hard and everything is coming together.Lot's of trial and error the only thing good about getting old is you know what works for ya and what doesn't.
