post your chicken coop pictures here!

We used livestock panels and combined them with our (cleancoops.com) coop. This is our progress so far. We are on such a steep slope that we have had to alter the design as we go. We added a hog panel/wire ramp in the stairwell, interior wire panels on the windows and will install an auto door this weekend. We are still planning to add a chunnel and hoop run out to the right in the next few weeks. We love the panels and we have used them for a lot of things around the house such as garden fence, tomato trellis, garden stakes, etc. We used old .5" drip line to line the passageway under the coop. We clenched it on with hog rings so the girls won't get snagged as they go by.

Hi Folks - Here's a few pictures of our "Trappers Cabin" coop.

Hey there Eric,

and welcome to the thread! That is a sweet looking coop! Who can't love a log "home?" I don't think I'd be too comfortable going in the run though... looks a little low in the ceiling for me

How do you access for eggs and such? Is there a door in the side/back of the coop perhaps? I wonder how the interior is laid out for nesting and roosting? How do you keep the chickens away from the wood stove inside

JK... I'd be a little concerned about that open area in the fence right below the roof there... Predators can be pretty crafty, and some climb... Anyway, thanks for sharing!

If you could close the actual chicken door at night that would work. I let my girls out in a fenced in area during the day (I'm in the backyard 80% if the time) and close them up in their coop at night.
