yes I am hoping so, we are just having trouble with choosing a watering system and how to set up the inside of the coop with nesting boxes and roost and flooring...hoping to find some good ideas on here!!Absolutely. There's a lot of peace of mind in that big a run.
I tried to start a new thread, I have been getting a few suggestions, I am hoping to get alot of ideas so that we can make an informed decisionCould you add something to the structure that would let you hang a waterer? I just use those five gallon tin things that hang to a foot above the ground. I hang it on a bungee cord.
But if you want something completely enclosed what about a ginormous hamster bottle, hooked to the outside of the run? I believe chickens have been trained to drink from them but I'm not sure. You'd probably have to also offer a pan for a while till they got the hang of it. Start a new thread on the topic! I bet you'd get lots of useful advice and creative ideas. Post a pic of your run and just ask for watering suggestions.

ooh do you like the gravity feeder? can you send me pics? i have heard about them but we have not tried them just yet....wondering if that would help keep a cleaner area too?We bought a 5 gallon bucket w/lid and "poultry wtering nipples" at TSC for a grand total of $6. DH put it together and hung it from a hook he screed ino the coop's ceiling... it leaks a little, so he's going t put plumers tape around the offending nipple when it stops raining lol. It doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would. Our back up plan was/is pvc pipe with the nipples in it, which I still think is better but whatever lol, because we have a pvc pipe gravity feeder.
Maybe that helps?!
