post your chicken coop pictures here!

Just finished the coops and runs about a week ago. The only things left to do is getting new bird netting for the top and surrounding the pens with hot wire. I am happy with they turned out. The larger pen is for my LF and smaller pen for my bantams.

Video tour of the coop. Still needs nest boxes.

Nice coop, easy clean and all. Maybe you need some more "bell weights" for the opening panels, easy lift! I would say the ramp is pretty steep but as they seem to be using it, I guess it is fine, at least for grown birds.

Andromeda was our orangy EE that we thought was taken by a predator last April. I'm glad to see that she is living at your place.

Beautiful bird!

Jonalisa,

Holy cow, That is your coop? At first I thought it was your house with a coop on the side.

Geogous!

Yep that sure is a fancy pants coop! I wonder if it started life as a kid's play house. Would love to see inside pics.

I like the Amish fiberglass coop models on www.eggstremecoops.com but our hot SoCalif weather is too stifling for the shut-in walls and as a senior it isn't handicap friendly. I like open bottom dirt floors for our hens as it makes it easier to rake then climbing partially into any Amish model (whether fiberglass or board-n-batton) to sweep or sift for cleaning.

I actually REALLY like the Quonset Hut coops at Eggstreme Coops. They appeal to my 70s inner child.

Amish fiberglass coops?

Somehow the Amish using fiberglass seems an oxymoron. No motorized anything but nasty chemicals are OK?

Amish has become the most abused marketing pitch there is for any 'trade' built item... Also a vast majority of Amish nowadays are far from 100% strict in their beliefs, many use modern day tech just like everyone else...

I had an amish guy show up at my house in a brand new car yesterday...but he wasn't driving...they pay the people to drive them around...and the amish is delivery wood here tommarow morning...can bet there not brining their horses to drop it off...six cords...
well keep up the nice work guys...coops look awesome....hope mine get better
