some times its just odd symptoms nothing to connect to a stroke. I went through this my self about six weeks ago. Thought I was having a stroke and they zoomed me to the ER. For me it was Bells Palsy. My smile was a half a smile six weeks ago now I have 7/8 of a smile... Bells is a parilization of the facial nerves caused by a viral infection you get over it eventually.... scary none the less.

I hear box elders bugs are an acquired taste for chickens some eat them most don't...

I have dealt with box elder bugs my entire life and know for the most part they are harmless beyond their nusances, but a few years back my brothers tattoo shop became their new breeding ground, so I had to find a low toxicity way to remove them... What we found was that about a Tablespoon or two of Dawn dish soap in a 1 gallon pump sprayer is lethal to them, spray the walls and trees and they drop off in droves, the little bit of Dawn in the water kills them nearly instantly...

A Dawn solution is good for small type insects on tomato plants too if sprayed in the early morning or late dusk. Chickens shouldn't eat toxic tomato vine leaves but my dummies didn't get the memo so we barricade the garden from them -- however, a hen occasionally manages to sneak into the garden somehow so using the Dawn on the tomatoes is a safe insecticide should the chicken happen to chew on it.
