post your chicken coop pictures here!

I live in a city, Sacramento. I bought this 4'x8' coop from craigslist. Made from recycled materials. Hardware cloth around enclosure. Burried wire all around.
I installed two pre-made 6' chain link gates in my backyard, between my garage & fence. This gives them a 12' by 18' yard.
I have a 7' fence all around my yard & will soon be free ranging them in my whole yard.
Here's a couple of shots of our Sac city chicken yard.

I didn't think about steel roofing projects, that's a GREAT idea. Right now, my truck doesn't have any gas, so I can't go anywhere. BUT, I will get some gas on the 2nd of the month when I get my check and then I will be going out to look for people doing re-roofing.

I called the local place where I get shipping crates from and they have a bunch more put aside for me to pick up. More wood for a house for my goats. (I'll be picking those up on the second as well.) I think I will be also looking for a building job. One of the neighbors looks like he's getting ready to build a garage with corrugated siding. The goats need a place to sleep at the new place where I have to move to. Scraps will be in order for the siding on their little house.

Gotta love craigslist.

What sianara said! Love the colors. Chicken coops have such personality. This one looks like it could survive a hurricane. Its crisp and clean and so stylish.

cheezychicken has a nice coop also.

I have thompson seedless grapes growing along the lattice at the top of the fence. They cover the fence with grape vines every summer. I'm gonna let the grape vines grow over the coop, & cover it with grapes.
