Layer pellets/oyster shell 24/7. In the winter I add cracked corn to the pellets and give scratch as a treat. When I have human leftovers they get those too but usually when I clean out the fridge on the weekend when I have more time. This morning they got leftover stale Life cereal, mashed potatoes and 2 small containers of outdated flavored yougurt all mixed together in a big bowl. I am also making soup today so am going to see what they think of the carrott peels and green bean ends, usually I just throw them out but with winter here there is not much for fresh anything out there to pick on so they might like it!
