We had to get all new girls this year, as the coyote got our older girls. We are finally getting eggs from our new girls. They are Lolly, Chip, Pheasant, Jewels, Aussie, Faith, Hope, Charity, and Easter. We had Buffy, but "she" turned out to be a rooster so we had to find a home for him out of town.

Meet Q-tip! This is my non-bearded showgirl hen. I have a funny story to go with this pic= I was explaining what my showgirl chickens look like to one of the ladies that lives in the nursing home where I work. We were talking about how cold it has been ( I live in Wisconsin), and she seemed concerned that the breed of chicken that I was describing to her didn't have any feathers on their necks. The next day, when I came in to work, she gave me a pile of "scarves" that she had knit for my showgirl chickens. LOL!

These are my daughter's geese, the gander is Butter Cup and the goose (you can only see her head and neck) is Peanut Butter. She is setting 5 eggs now and my daughter is going to name the babies as follows,
