This is a few weeks old but the newest additions to our flock that went from 9 to 14!

Our ducks are named after "Big Bang Theory" characters. Sheldon=big white dorky looking Pekin, Raj=small pretty brown one, etc. etc.
Chickens are 1, 2 , 3 etc. They all look exactly the same and I wasn't going to bother putting anklets on them just so I could know who was pecking my boots

When they were chicks we used food coloring dots to tell them apart but no one could remember who was who. They were named things like Parmesan, Marsala, Picata, Lemon, Orange, etc. Then the other color (1/2 flock white, 1/2 red) were egg dish names like Benedict, Poached, Scrambled, etc. It was fun coming up with names with the kiddos.

Hello! My chickens names are: Millie, Mollie, Marshmallow, Midnight, Cocoa, Popcorn, Daisy, Butterscotch, Autumn, and Noodle The Rooster!

We have 2 Buff ducks, a male named Sparky, and a female named Mrs. Nesbit (or Lady). And then we have an Americauna rooster named Spots (he's the black and white one at far left), an Americauna hen named Tweety, and 4 RIR named Miss Daisy, Kissy, Shiny, and Tiny. My kids came up with all the names themselves. But I told them when we hatch a clutch of eggs, we will name the chicks Loretta, Dolly, and Patsy. And I thought of a cool name for a rooster: Conway Tweety! lol

i had 5 barred rocks that died. their names were Freida, Gertrude, Kaz, Georgia, and Avita
