Finally have some breeds that we can tell apart and call more then "production layer brown and white"
We have
Frannie-silver laced polish hen
Snowie-blue cochin hen
Molly-Blue Cochin hen
Rooroo-silver laced cochin (thinking (hoping?) rooster, he's only 7 weeks old so it's still iffy, might need a name change down the road)
Peckie- Black Jersey Giant hen (name is self explanatory, we were calling her Pecker, but the neighbors started looking at me oddly when they would hear me yelling "here Pecker" out across the neighborhood)
RoadRunner- White leghorn
Maggie-White Leghorn
I think that's it. We have 3 brown production layers w/o individual names we just call them "the browns"
and three other Silver Laced Cochin hens (fingers crossed they're hens) that all look the same and have yet to adopt names.
