yes irresponsible people like to ruin things   It's unfortunate.   Ours does one as a fellowship fundraiser  for certain ministries.  We live I a poor area and have a huge outreach, most fundraising goes to sponsor our teens to life changing events. We even have an abundance of homeless teens.  we are a small church and out youth group is over 100 kids.  They feed them and for many its the only meal they get except what the school provides.

It's an Assembly of God. I love their outreach. Thy have a huge NA outreach and once a month feed the poor ad put on worship in the park, we sponsor tons of missionaries, and we cloth prison babies and women, have a food pantry for the homeless. And a lot of children's programs.. we need more room lol.

Yes it's nice, but hard to find volunteers. There is just a handful of workers and they take on multiple areas. I live a ways out, and am practically a single parent since my husband is home for a few weekends a year unless he takes leave. I just manage part of the nursery schedule and keep the snacks filled. That's about all I am good for, I even quit the worship tem, I kept loosing my voice lol

I have a friend who is falling for a total flirt.... NEED pointers here..... like how to stand her... I talk to her and try to be nice, but it's fake and I don't like fake.... I'm just concerned for my friend and his future,....ps I'm not jealous!

Don't try to talk her out of it. It wil just make it wore. instead just talk about him.. how she feels about him. Be a friend about it. then slip in the thruth. 'Do you think he really means it?' 'Just make sure you don;t ignore the things that bother you. God speaks to us in such ways.. to help us make wise descisions.' things like that. Pray for her. But ultimately you can't make people do things or not do things. Plus if he isn;t real and he knows you are running interference, its a challenge for him to try harder.
