[New duck mommy 2021]

At this present time I have 24 here
The 6 babies will go to their new home in a few weeks
Mom just hatched them and I want her to have the full experience of raising them as well
2 of my ancona babies look to be male so they will be going to their new home next week after I’m 100 % sure as I won’t be adding in more boys
I Finally got my flock calm with the 3 drakes I have
I have 2 boys that run over to greet me
Most my girls will eat from my hand
They can be picked up but prefer not to be
I couldn’t live my life without these guys

So glad you are happy with your ducks. They serm to be closely bonded with you.

Do you know you can make a home-made duck diaper from a shower cap with absorbant tissue inside? I will try and find information for you

the black and white ducks are just gorgeous. i've not seen those before. i need to find someone who has ducks local to me so i can add a year old hen to my 2.

Im fairly new to ducks, and got these two dictators in March! They always welcome me with bobs of their head. And quacks telling me what they want. Usally their pool filled or treats!
They both earned their names!
First is Toxic-well the symbol on her head as a baby definitely explains that but she definitely knows how to start making all the chickens noisy to!
Then Tsunami! She loves to go in the water and torpedo under. Making a huge splash of water everywhere. She has done this since the first time i let her in water!

Such a sweet story and pictures.

When my Muscovy drake was a wee tot 12yrs ago I put down thick towels on the bed and he would get in and snuggle with my husband and me. That was such a sweet time.

victor has decided he 'wants' sassy again and has been jumping her non stop now. i may let her hatch a clutch instead of gathering them up as she lays them.

Do you mean the younger crew of 5 weeks. Those are 4 ancona
Brown / white
Silver / white
And 2 black / white. The full black with the white neckline is one from my batch I kept back
Her mom is pekin / khaki and dad is blue Swedish
No idea how I got her look but it’s neat. She has tons of green / blue within her black and she quacks so she is a girl for sure

5 weeks old; yellow is mostly white, they're getting splotches of white and black on their heads. With muscovy claws, we now

use caution when picking 'em up (not often).
