Post your favourite chicks/chickens

I shouldn't play favourites. Each of the birds in my run have distinct personalities, but I like Saffron the best of all of them. She was bullied initially, so I was going to give her a name that reflected what the other pullets did to her head with their beaks, but thought better because the name would have been too crude to say without context.

Anyhow, she is coming into her own and will not let the other birds push her around anymore. She's also my in my avatar picture.

You she get some duck eggs (to incubate) it’s totally worth it! ;)
I totally would! I love ducklings and ducks but hubby isn’t convinced yet.
Here are a couple pictures of some of my layers ( Well, not quite layers yet ) and a picture of my two Call ducks.

what breed is the bottom chick? It’s so pretty!

Hey guys,
I’m almost done day 20 of my second time ever incubating eggs and I’m going a little crazy waiting.

So was hoping people wanted to share pics of their favourite/pretty bird. Particularly chicks in the mean time :D:jumpy

Here’s one of my favourites from my first hatch. I ended up getting rid of him but very nice guy. I love my Wyandottes.

Adorable:love! We are on day 20 too. We have 22 and all of them are candycorn polish eggs. Also, I have 3 blue/splash silkie eggs in the incubator from Magnolia Silkies. They are on day 19 right now. I originally had 18 silkie eggs, beautifully packaged, come in the mail at first but due to the Post Office's rough handling 1 of the eggs was cracked and in the end I only ended up with 3 living:(. I will post pics of all the chicks when they hatch.

This is Chester, my favorite roo in the rooster-only flock. I found him in a parking lot.

Mico, a sebright cockerel. He's very sweet and likes to get his neck rubbed.

Cheeto, another of my favorites. He's good with other roosters, despite being in a mixed flock of roos and hens, and doesn't pick on chicks.

Handsome roos:love. Just curious, how does an all rooster flock work? Do they fight all of the time? Is their coop far enough away from the hens that they get along?:)
