This is our second egg. We found the first one pretending to be a omlette.
BTW..is it normal for a hen to lay her eggs a week apart?

They are about 15 weeks old.

Here it is, our 18 week old Red Sex Link layed it last thursday,and has layed one everyday since. I hope the other 4 will be this productive when they start.

Small brown is hers white is safeway bought egg
Which she laid in a nesting box after singing the egg song for 2 hours and fussing endlessly

It was laid on August 7th or 8th by our RIR I believe. Looks a little beat up, I found it in our run. Since then they've been laying in the nesting boxes.

This isn't quite the first, but it's only been 2-3 weeks since our red sex-links started laying. I don't think I've seen an egg this big!
