It happened today or maybe at night because it was on the dropping board under the roost. My birds are 20 weeks today. I'm not sure who laid it but I'm thinking one of my barred rocks or bsl's. It did not crack but had what looked like hole from a quick peck, otherwise good shape.

The one on the left is our first egg - laid on 9/25/09. Our white EE was the girl who gave us this nice present. She was 21 weeks old. I took a picture of it next to a store bought white egg. I didn't realize till after I originally posted it that the bowl looks like it is smiling - just like I was all weekend!

At 18 weeks. She lays about two eggs every three days. It took 11 days to get a normal sized egg.

I'm a grandma!!!! I couldn't be more proud than if I laid it myself!!!

This gift was left on the floor of the coop by one of my BA's. They are 22 wks old today.

Not a bad size I don't think, and a nice hard shell. And there sit my nest boxes. All they contain are bedding, a couple feathers and a couple golf balls. I built nest boxes for what reason??

Hopefully the rest of my feathered freeloaders will get inspired now!
