My first egg! I was a bit surprised, thought I had another week or so, they're only just 16 weeks. I'm not sure who's it is, the one I suspect looks like either a production red, rir, or buckeye, depending on the pic.

others that might be close are either White Leghords, Easter Eggers, or SLW.....the SLW are slow to egg and the others should not lay this egg...right?

First egg from my pullets!!!!

I didnt take pics of the first egg from the original flock, or the original flock 2.0 (we got 4 chickens a couple months later) But i did get a pic of the egg from my new additions. they are about 15 1/2 Weeks old, and i am pretty sure the egg is from my Black Star, because my Red Star (Cinnamon Queen) was the first to lay an egg last year, right about this time
