I'm so excited!! I got home from work today and found that one of my girls had laid their first egg!! This is exactly where I found it!

Not sure which one of these sweet girls did it though!!

My first eggs. I have three Buff Brahma Bantams. They are about 5 months old. I get an egg about every other day. I don't know which chick is laying though.

Too cool. I have never had chickens until this year.

I don't know how to post in this message though.

Our first egg.

This was laid on 10-02-2011 and as of this morning, we have half a dozen.

But, we can't eat them for now........Since we did a worming on them. Our "safe to eat" date is: 10-11-2011 (14 days after worming)

FWIW: They have all been laid in one nesting box (we have 5), except for one on the floor.
