First eggs Feb 15th, 2013!! Not sure who it is exactly but only two hens and one kind of egg so far so only one layer. Welcome little, tan ping pong balls!

I got my first egg today! My white leghorn "Layla" laid it.

Someone else is laying! Another "First" egg. It came out soft shelled though. I have 2 leghorns, 1 BC Maran, and a Barred Rock. I'm assuming this came from one of the brown layers.

Congrats everyone on your eggs! I'm posting again because I just got my first Serama egg! I don't know how laid it but it's so cute!

(BA) Chocolate's very first egg at 21.5 wks is on the right. I was starting to call her Choco-LATE cuz it's been 2 weeks since her Red Star "sister " of the same age dropped her first egg. The egg on the left is from Cinnamon today for comparison. There was one heck of drawn out egg song from the coop this morning... And the egg seems to reflect it!

Hopefully tomorrow's will be less traumatic... And less traumatized!

Thanks to be honest I was about to give her away today since she hadn't started laying yet. It's like she read my mind.

After all the complaining about waiting for an egg....this was the first on I got a week ago....Now Baby is laying 2 at a time everyday at 930 am ish.....Thanks for everyones advice!
