Well, my Easter Egger finally laid her first egg! 23 weeks old this past Tuesday. What a great way to start the weekend, TGIF!!

This pictures make it look like it's white or off-white, but it's blue "in person". LOL



Came out to these three and two more came a couple of hours later. Now all five are laying. Yay!!

My first home grown chicken egg! Woohoo! My easter egger will be 23 weeks tomorrow. She took an hour to lay this small green egg. I'm so excited!

( it's so fresh it's still warm in my hand) My 20 wk old Black sex link Kizzy gave me my first / her first egg. I raised her from a 2 wk old chick which makes this soo exciting now if she learns to lay them in the nesting box and not on the ground of the run.

It's a dbl. yolk'r!!

I have 4 Barred Rocks that are 20 weeks old. Left for 2 days and yesterday came back to this:


Pretty sure just one of the chickens gave me both (1 each day I was gone). One was in the nest box the other was on the floor of the henhouse. Now I want to go out every 5 minutes and check for more
