Finally a first egg! These girls are about 25-26 weeks of age. Thought they would never lay!

I got my first eggs yesterday November 16-2013!
My girls are 23 weeks old now(5months and 6 days old to be exact)
I got 2 eggs actually. So we know at least 2 of them are now laying.
I know one was from my BO named Evangeline- not sure who laid the other..
I am grateful- however-They are laying them everywhere EXCEPT the nest box-
But i guess it all takes time to get use too, for them and for me!
Having the first eggs for breakfast this morning! yay!

First one! We have 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 Buff Rock, and 3 Easter Eggers. I think this was from one of the Buff Orpingtons. They'll be 6 months old in 1 week.

I can't thank everyone in this community enough. I would have been lost without the shared knowledge found here.

Which of your girls laid that beauty? I just got another egg, looks identical but i find one maybe every week and a couple days, don't know who the inconsistent girl is....
