I have had an egg a day from my two EEs that started at 24 wks. (except once - one egg day)

Wow an egg a day!!

I thought that they only layed 4 a week!!

I found 3 eggs at 7:30 am and one of my other hens was all upset so we were worried about her and then at 1:00 pm she layed an egg right in front of me!

I have been spying but haven't been on time... I was wondering how long it actually takes from the time they hit the nest box. generally.

one hen lays in the morning, and the other in the afternoon or 3-4 ish.

Another hen just layed an egg in front of me it was so cool here is a picture of the little egg she was sitting there for about 30 minutes, she is 165 (23 weeks and 4 days) days old today and is an EE her name is Honey.

My first egg! One of the bantam cochin girls laid it and I am SO excited and proud you'd think *I* had.

Well this morning i went out had two eggs which is normal for my 2 year old barred rocks and about noon went out to get my rir and bb eggs and to my suprise my 19 week old hens had a few presents for me sitting all pretty!!!!! I wasn't going to get excited because last year when i waited for my girls to start it took them 25 weeks
