Post your FIRST EGG pics!

My first eggs. They are from my approximately 4 month old Malaysian Serama pullet, Smudge. The big eggs are from my Dad's Hamburgs and bantam Easter Eggers (both medium eggs). She laid one yesterday, and another today! I am so proud of her!

Smudge, who hates the camera and plays pancake chicken everytime she sees it.

I am starting to wonder if the climate MIGHT NOT have something to do with that . It was VERY HOT here this summer , but we are in the mid 50's in the morning and mid 80's during the day NOW , and still has not changed anything . Fixing to make me a big chicken stew and sell plate lunches .

LOL, Liz! My EEs were shipped 4/9 so probably hatched 4/6 or 7. You'll have to do the math. I've got a 6 year old child making me nuts at the moment. Don't ask! My EE Vanessa laid her first egg yesterday. My first green one! These are all 6 that we collected this morning. I put hers next to the white one so the color would show better. The funniest part? She goes into the duck house to lay!
