Thats one freaky deaky looking egg!

My first egg! Or two. Both discovered on the same day. Both at 19 weeks about 6 days when they started squatting for me
so exciting, i've gone out and bought layer crumble and oyster shells right away.

Our Americauna has been laying for a few weeks but this is our first from our RIR

To day we were all excited to find the second egg...the kids were literally jumping up and down.

Here's my first one next to a large store-bought egg. I was so happy! I'm not positive who layed it, but it was one of my girls at 17.5 weeks.

It might only be a few days off winter solstice but we got our first egg in the weekend just gone. The chooks are probably about 35 weeks old and this came from Blackie, who I'm guessing is an orpington/sussex cross. We've had three eggs this week and two other girls are squatting and hopefully close to laying too.

My EE/Polish crosses first egg yesterday! Got another one today, slightly larger, slightly more pink. Not sure which girl is laying it yet. I found it right next to their food both days, not in either of the very comfortable nesting boxes I have provided them lol

I have 6 of them, so I'm hoping they follow suit soon! They're 5 1/2 months.

Need one more for breakfast tomorrow

Our First Eggs!!!!!!

One is from our EE the other I don't know since all my hens are making funky noises
squatting when you reach for them. They are all 20 weeks and 3 days!
One was right in middle of the egg box , the EE laid her pretty blue egg
right next to the food

After all my watching and checking, my husband found them!!!! Can't
wait to see what tomorrow brings
