My very first egg!! This little beauty came from my ToeLulah (she has several crooked toes). My husband happened to be out at the coop saying hi to the girls and he found ToeLulah in the nest box looking like "what happened!?!" He brought it right in to me, it's still warm lol. I'm amazed at how perfect it looks in color and shape!!! i put it on my old jiffy way egg scale, it measured between a small and medium. Never thought I would be so excited about an egg lol but I waited 25 weeks for it. We have 5 more ladies who should be laying anytime now too

I just got my first eggs today from 4 hens I bought a sale I got three eggs from two of the hens! I watched her have both of them myself

The Jersey Giants started laying Easter Weekend, just shy of 6 Months of age. I'm shocked and blessed. Happy Easter!

Thank you. I am extremely proud of him. He also made a compost barrel with his dad. And all of it has been his ideas. I'm not sure where they are coming from but I will keep encouraging it.

I got one that is slightly lighter than the others. I think it may be my pullet's first egg. the other browns are form 2 red star's and this lighter one may be my first black star brown egg. The white ones are form my white leghorns.
